I was born in 1988 in Patagonia, Argentina, dominated by vast skies, exceptional fishing, and warm smiles. Since childhood, I have embraced the outdoors, enjoying nature and sharing wonderful mountain-, river-, and lake environments with my family. I have vivid memories of catching my first trout with my father – a hobby that, over time, grew into my passion and my career. “There’s nothing more rewarding than doing what you love for a living.”
In 2016, I met Henrik Mortensen at Aurelia Lodge, where I have worked as the lodge manager and guide for over a decade. This is a technical, magical, and family-friendly place in the upper mid-mountain range of the legendary Rio Grande River, where sea trout present a constant challenge to catch. It was there that I truly learned that “the wind is your friend” and that the line concept offered by Salmologic makes fly fishing more effective and enjoyable.
Through fishing, I have developed patience and perseverance—qualities that have benefited me in many aspects of my life. I take great joy in teaching and sharing my experiences with other anglers, which brings me immense satisfaction at the end of the day when the goal has been achieved.
I work as a full-time guide year-round. My guiding season takes place in TDF Patagonia, and during the European summer, I transition to guiding in Iceland, where I focus on salmon and sea trout during the summer months of the opposite hemisphere. When the sea trout and salmon season ends, the Golden Dorado season begins. Pursuing Golden Dorado is a passion I’ve been cultivating for the past few years. In summary, “life is better when you fish.”
I am very proud and honored to be part of the Salmologic family. I fully share their philosophy, and it is a pleasure to represent the brand. If you ever need my help or advice, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
