The Reborn 10’8” 16 grams/247 grains switch rod is another exceptional addition to our Reborn lineup. When we first introduced the Reborn series, this rod wasn’t as refined as we envisioned, therefore it wasn’t released. Perfection takes time, and releasing something less than our highest standards is not our style.
Creating a true switch rod for line weight 16 grams (247 grains) is challenging, as it requires a blank capable of effectively being loaded with either one or two hands on the handle. It should allow for delicate presentations deep or high in the water, while remaining extremely sensitive, yet strong enough to handle large salmon or sea trout.
Thanks to the advanced 2025 Graphene+ technology, we’ve gained a significant advantage in meeting these demands with this ultra-light switch rod.
This rod has undergone more testing than any other we’ve designed, proving itself with numerous large sea trout caught both abroad and at home, before it was approved for production. There’s “just” something truly special about how it not only enables precise fly presentations, but also offers a smooth, intuitive fishing experience—truly magical.
With this rod, the concept of “being the fly” is no longer just a phrase—it’s a reality.
