Every new Salmologic rod and reel is covered by our original owner warranty for a period of two years from date of purchase. The warranty covers against any defects in material or workmanship.
The warranty is limited to repair and replacement of the rod or reel and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. This warranty does not cover any intentional breakage or damage, modification or customization of the finished product. The warranty is null and void if you exceed the recommended line rating for the rod, or if you alter the finish of the rod.Salmologic reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace any salmologic product covered by this warranty and the right to replace any discontinued models with comparable models when necessary. Colors and components may vary between original and replacement parts.The warranty is only valid if you have registered your purchase on our website and can provide the original receipt. The warranty registration must be completed within 30 days of purchase.For all return shipments within Scandinavia, the original owner will be responsible for a fee of €30 for each repaired item to cover shipping, insurance and processing. International customers will be charged a fee of €50.In order to have a product serviced, send the product directly to us, please send the entire product, freight prepaid, and insured for its full value. Be sure to include all broken parts or pieces. Package the product either in its original packaging, or in packaging affording an equal degree of protection as the original packaging.Include a note with your name, shipping address, phone and E-mail address (if available), as well as a brief explanation of the nature of the problem.For return shipments within Scandinavia, also include a check for €30, or information on a Visa or MasterCard with the name that appears on the card, and the expiration date. Outside Scandinavia we do not accept checks, so please provide us with a Visa or MasterCard with the name that appears on the card, and the expiration date.
